Calls are charged at a flat pre-paid rate of 90c per minute and at minute interval billing. It is pre-paid and on the VodaCom cellular network. The SIM card only works in the SharedPhone unit and not any other cellular handset. The SharedPhone is portable and is charged with own built-in battery lasting 1 to 3 months on a charge. It has a display screen showing caller line identity, call times etc and it can send SMS’s from the handset. The handset has an aerial and will work wherever there is Vodacom coverage. You can receive and make calls. It has a hands free function with speaker phone.
You can also dispense airtime to all networks and Telkom call cards (you must fund your VB Account linked to the device first from any ABSA Bank or EFT to the ABSA account). You then transfer airtime you want to use to the phone and the rest can be sold or once again be allocated for your calls from the phone. You can also dispense pre-paid electricity. You get the airtime and electricity at a discounted rate of between 6 - 8% and therefore make that as a profit.
You purchase the phone without the Dynamic business or the call income, just the low call rates of 90c per minute for a once-off R1 299.
